If the Table Does Not Fit Your Home

A dining table is not a pair of socks — you do not just toss it back in a box and ship it. It is a piece of furniture that takes up physical space, carries aesthetic weight in a room, and arrives in a box that weighs about 100 pounds. If the table is not right for your dining area, we want to make the process as simple as the size of the item allows. Here is how.

30 DAYS FROM DELIVERY

You have 30 calendar days. If the table and chairs do not work in your space, you can return them. Valid reasons include:

  • The table is bigger than your dining nook can handle
  • The table is smaller than expected
  • The wood finish does not match your cabinets
  • The faux leather chair color clashes with your walls
  • You measured wrong and need a different size
  • You just changed your mind

No explanation required. We get it — choosing furniture online is hard. Sometimes it looks different in person.

CONDITIONS FOR RETURNS

The dining set must come back in its original condition:

  • Table and all 4 chairs included
  • No stains on the chair upholstery
  • No deep scratches, gouges, or water rings on the table surface
  • All hardware (bolts, screws, Allen key) packed with the set if disassembled
  • No structural damage — legs secure, frame intact, chair joints tight

You may assemble the set to test it — that is expected. But it should still look new, not like a table that has survived Thanksgiving dinner.

Original packaging is helpful but not mandatory. If you discarded it, use sturdy boxes and adequate padding. Heavy items in flimsy boxes do not survive return transit.

DEFECTIVE OR DAMAGED ON ARRIVAL

A dining set shipped across the country can take a beating. If yours arrives damaged:

  1. Inspect the boxes upon delivery. If a box is visibly crushed, torn, or punctured, photograph it before opening.
  2. Open every box and inspect every piece — tabletop, legs, all 4 chairs.
  3. If anything is damaged (chipped wood, torn upholstery, bent leg, missing hardware), photograph it.
  4. Email photos to [email protected] within 48 hours of delivery.

We send a replacement set immediately. You keep the damaged set until the replacement arrives, then the carrier picks up the damaged one. You never go without a table.

Missing hardware? Email us. We priority-mail the missing bolt or screw — usually faster than a full return.

HOW TO RETURN

  1. Email [email protected]. Subject: “Return Request.” Include your order number.
  2. We reply within 24 hours with a prepaid return label.
  3. Pack the table and chairs securely. Attach the label. The carrier picks it up from your home (you do not need to haul a 100-pound box to a drop-off location).
  4. Once we receive and inspect the set, refund issued within 5 business days.

Return shipping: free. Pickup from your home: included. You pay nothing.

REFUND TIMELINE

  • Full purchase price refunded to your original payment method
  • Sales tax refunded with the product price
  • Processing: up to 5 business days after inspection
  • Your bank may take 2-5 additional days to display the credit
